Who We Are and What We Do

One day, three students wanted to change the world, and Opposite Poverty was established. We were inspired and challenged by the global matters we were confronted with, personally and indirectly, and we decided that the best time to start was now. Here, you can learn more about us and our cause, as well as have a read of our blog and keep up to date with events we will be hosting. Don't hesitate to contact us on means of donating and volunteering. Thank you for visiting Opposite Poverty and helping us connect societies together.

Let's Change the World Together

Our Causes

Opposite Poverty is working towards a brighter future for us all. We are and will continue to put in hard-work and effort to provide solutions for the pressing issues affecting our community. We are fighting against apathy, ignorance and hate, and we would love for you to become part of that change today.

Clothing Drive | Andrew's Centre

6th - 17th November

Have a shirt (washed + wearable) you don't need? Drop it off at the entrance of Gleneagles' library in the clothing donation box and hep someone in need! We will be running a clothing drive over the course of two weeks for the Andrews Centre, an amazing organisation that has done and is still doing so much for our community.
